Krele has a portfolio of drug product candidates that target blockbuster (>$1 billion) markets or emerging markets. Krele tailors development to meet the challenges of each condition, such as second-line treatment options for sub-specialty physicians which can be expanded to larger markets after initial FDA approval. Krele also seeks to maintain options for commercialization as a stand-alone entity while maximizing strategic business development options such as co-marketing partnerships.

Product development at Krele combines efficient clinical development with CNS market insight. Our resulting drug products are designed to provide compelling value proposals to patients and prescribers, as well as demonstrate clear competitive advantages to third-party payors (such as insurance companies or government programs like Medicare) to merit reimbursement.

Krele is building intellectual property around its drugs that will protect its proprietary products from generics and other branded competitors.

Krele’s strategic principles include:

1) Focus on U.S. market – The U.S. is the largest pharmaceutical market in the world. The U.S. is also attractive because partners and collaborators recognize the value of differentiated products in this market.

2) Develop patient-oriented central nervous system (“CNS”) therapies – Focus on therapeutic area where current therapies are not optimal, and the need for 2nd and 3rd line treatment options is abundant.

3) Maintain option of stand-alone marketing – Specialist physicians who treat CNS conditions are grouped into several niche markets such as: psychiatrists, neurologists or addiction medicine doctors. A niche market can be targeted through a small specialty sales force, allowing Krele to retain the value created in the developed product.
